About PhotoViewer

There are a number of Lightbox applications out there based on jQuery, prototype and scriptaculous. But I wasn't able to find a similar product built on the YUI library, which in my opinion, is by far the best out there. So I started out creating a simple Lightbox. I released YUI Lightbox in September in a BETA form. It became clear that the application had some performance issues as well as limitations to the API and poor compatibility. After a core re-write, more testing and greater compatibility, I am proud to present PhotoViewer 1.0. As with all first generation products, this will need some ironing out.
